You would never guess what happened when...
I lost my foot. Sounds crazy, I know, but it's a true story. It all happened one beautiful summer morning, I woke up to my ringing alarm in my Florida beach house. I got up and stretched my stiff limbs looking around my room. I slowly started getting ready for another day of field work for my scientific research. I went to my dresser to tie up my hair and came across the black and white photograph of my mother in my drawer. She was a wonderful woman who loved to go out and do her lab research. She used to go out into the dank, muggy swamps collecting specimens for her research. She is a wonderful woman... well, was a wonderful woman sometimes I forget that she's gone. It all happened on one unlucky day when she was behind in her work and too rushed to be paying attention. She stood up too fast on her little boat and it rocked making her stumble off the edge. She fell right into the water and became an alligator’s lunch. I snapped out of my thoughts about her and I went back to getting ready. I grabbed my Ipod and was out the door on my way to the swamp. I got into my boat that was docked along the shore line and was on my way, passing safety signs warning about alligator infested waters. As soon as i got far enough into the swamp I stopped the boat and started getting my equipment out and ready. I grabbed a cylinder out and started to calculate the ph in the water samples i was collecting. Suddenly the boat shook aggressively. My heart quickened, I looked around the water to see what it was. There was a dark shadow in the water coming up to my boat again. Bam, the creature collided with the boat and almost sent me flying off that time. I peered over to my left side and saw the back of a blue spine alligator. My mind started to go wild, this alligator is one of the most dangerous of it's kind. I tried to gain my balance fearing for my life. The alligator eyed me and came to the boat again trying to knock me out. I held my self until he hit the boat from underneath, knocking me out into the water. I came up to the surface looking around. All of a sudden I felt pain shooting up my legs. The alligator had no care that I was wearing shoes, he just wanted to eat me whole. I kicked with all my might and somehow managed to get away and climb back into the boat. Blood streamed down my leg onto the deck of the boat and there was nothing in place of where my foot should have been. He ate my food as if it was a double BigMac from Mcdonalds. I managed to get out of the swamp and to a hospital. Unlike my mother I survived the attack.. And I swear to you, that is exactly how it all went down.

HAHAHA you would put an alligator. Nice job Kristina.
