Who has the Munchies?

I'm hosting a dinner party consisting of chicken quesadillas with a side of nacho chips and dip. I have set up a guest list of just ten and I believe I made the best choice in people for this occasion.

1. Lawrence Burton: If I did not put the kids name first, he’d get mad, yet how would he know when he took this class last year and is now attending Mohawk? Well I guess I can say by beaux is a lurk and will make sure I have him first.

2. Natalia Sandic: She’s practically my sister, and I can pass for her I.D in montreal. So I owe her at least a dinner hosted by me to return the huge favour she did for me.

3. Erica Infanti: I enjoy her company and even though she can be some what bitter I love the fact that she’s a good chirp in any mood. Oh… and she’s the only girl that I can say I’ve gotten a male lap dance with. HA mtl…

4. Luly M…: What would I do without Luly?! She’s a cutie, everyone will ask if I brought a beautiful doll to the table and I will say “No, she may be short, but you’re looking at Luly, my wonderful and cutest friend in the world!”

5. Mr. Powels: How can I have a dinner party without the creator and lyricist of “Sexy Lit”? Christopher Powles is actually one of my favourite teachers because well… Like Erica, in any mood, he’s a good chirp.

6. Mr. Harris: Even though he has been mocked by many, I adore this man. I’ve taken two of his classes which were the most pointless things. I only did it to listen to his dry and sarcastic jokes. I strive to be like him.

7. Minwoo Kim: Just adding a splash of multiculturalism now! Minwoo Kim is one of my favourite guys to be around, he’s actually too funny. Having dinner without Minwoo would be like trying to paint with my feet, uncomfortable and awkward. Btw: VOTE MINWOO KIM VALEDICTORIAN!

8. Mark Denton: Well it’s like a reunion of both Canadian History and EST4U1. Without Mark, both those classes and dinner would have been a bore.

9. Mr. Hopman: He was my grade ten history teacher, but he’s more special than that. His stories are interesting and well he’s not that bad on the eyes… ask every other girl that has attended Orchard Park and they’ll agree. Plus if I didn’t invite him, I think Erica would kill me.

10. Partick: He will be the entertainment. He will dance for me and Erica… Oh Montreal.

Five.

Literal- The Mistress of Nothing: A book about a simple maid and her journey with her mistress to Egypt because of her deteriorating health. For the sake of it being turned into a novel, some things are fictionalized yet all the events were based off of the diary and notes of the Mistress herself

Emotional- P.S. I love you- The idea of this movie and it happening to someone in real life is heartbreaking in my opinion. A husband dies and the wife is left alone unable to bear the pain of it all just made me break out into tears
Moral- Macbeth- This play was probably the only piece of literature in high school that I remotely enjoyed reading. The play had such a strong moral behind it, that once you fight your way to the top there’s only one way to go and that’s down.

Symbolic- Lord of the Rings- Even though I've watched the movies, i couldn't fully grasp my head around the idea, yet the few things I did obtain from the movie were that the ring represenst fellowship... and that's actually all... terrible of me, but what else can I say? They were too long of movies with too much information...

Hyperbolic- Life of Pi- This book from the beginning to the end is over the top; while Patel is out on the middle of the ocean he tells the story of being stranded with animals. He gives another version of the story and changed the animals to people never truly telling the reader which one was true.
